“In 1972 Gyorgy Gives built a summer house for a friend in the Budapest green belt. The house ressembles more tropicals forms of contemporary buildings which have analogies in Brazil and Italy. Unsing a circular form he created a new type of bulding which resulted in a small three level summer residence an a hilly site with a unique identity. Looking at the section of the three level house, the orchestration of the circle as the constituting element in the design reveals a freshness of fantasy rarely found in any part of Eastern Europe.”
